We did 2.5 miles in and returned for round trip of 5 miles. Beautiful trail, gorgeous day. Would recommend snowshoes vs. spike, lots of post holes.

Great trail for dogs.

Great trail! We hiked to the “2nd Tee-Pee” with our 2 year-old and dog. It was snowing and absolutely beautiful! About 1 mile each way- perfect for a short hike in the morning!

Great trail, partial snowpack in many places but still doable in my tennis shoes. Very beautiful and easy trail. The dog had a blast too.

First trail hike as a family, 5 boys ages 3-15 and everyone did great, only a couple of piggyback rides required.

Took the hike from the trailhead in Breck to downtown Frisco, even with a good amount of rain last night it was dry except for some puddles here and there. Finished with the added portion in just under 4 hours, really nice stream running along and rainbow lake at the end.

My favorite trail! I would recommend this trail for anyone who wants rolling hills and breathtaking views. If you start in Breckenridge you finish in Frisco with lots a great places to eat.

Did this in 4 hours with two 10 year olds. Totally doable. The first 3ish miles are amazing. The middle 2 are bit brutal with uphill climbs and direct sun exposure. The last 3 are amazing as well! Worth it!

It is a great trail to run on, although there are lots of rocks and roots so be careful with your footing! Also watch out for bikers.

Great trail! We took it from Breckenridge to Frisco and it took exactly 3 hours. We took some breaks to eat/drink and take in the scenery. The trail is definitely rocky with added exposed tree roots, watch your footing. Bugs during the second half as you are hiking closer to streams and the river. Well marked and maintained trail with friendly faces to say hello to along that way. Would recommend, 8/10

Nicely marked trail- goes along several streams, a few nice views, 2/3s nicely shaded, not much elevation change over the 8 miles, my 8 and 10 years olds both made it no problem- with an incentive package of course. Mine was $20/ each to make the trail in 4 hours. They did it in 3 hours 56 minutes. So very doable, easy. We caught it in frisco and took it to the lodge in Breck, Road the free bus down to town- grabbed beer and dinners and uber back to frisco trail head. Perfect day!

Beautiful trail, not crowded at all. It took us about 3.5 hours to get from Breckenridge to Frisco. Some muddy parts but nothing too bad.

Beautiful shaded trail, lots of creeks. Easy, packed dirt, well defined trails. We went about 2.5 miles in from Ski Hill Road. Not much dedicated parking so we parked on the “No Parking” side and were told by a local it was ok. No ticket. Great for out of state guests not ready for lots of vertical. No mud today!

This was a fun and easy hike from Break to Frisco. We took the gondola up to peak 7 and took the peak connections path over to the peak trail head path. Started at 10:15 and finished a little after 2pm with a 25 minute lunch break. Path was a little muddy in spots but not too bad. Some parts late had shade cover but good portion was in the sun. Just barely missed the 2:07 free summit stage shuttle at the community adventure center/park pick up spot back to Break.

This was a well marked, great trail. A little snow and mud but outstanding views. The weather has been great. Make sure you check out directions when you exit in Frisco, easy to get turned around.

Great trail, with blue diamond markers on trees to guide you. We hiked about 4 miles and then returned. Nice variety of forest and some open areas. Felt like Robin Hood in the Forest.

Great hike to Frisco. It ended up being 9.5 miles- trail head in Breck said 10 to Frisco/7.8 trail distance. It muddy in places and you’ll come across a few snow fields. Be mindful when you hit the snow fields, it’s easy to get off trail.

Trail was more like 8.4 miles and ends near a subdivision. You can take the free shuttle from Frisco back to Breckenridge but make sure to download the Summit Express app prior so you can find the shuttle stops. Well marked with blue diamonds, there was still some heavy snow patches you needed to go thru along with mud. Besides standard hiking shoes no special equipment was needed although you will be getting snowy and muddy, no way to avoid. Beautiful trail with lots of different scenery and so many active rivers running throughout.
