I love this trail for an easy walk with a beautiful view. There are great water access points too, which make the trail a great place to hang out. Lots of rock climbers as well! Only recorded half of the trail on the way back so it’s longer than 2.2 miles.

I love this trail, but I have to say that I am really disappointed with how it looked yesterday. I lost count of all the poop bags laying on the trail. You already brought bags to clean up after your dog, why not carry it to a garbage can? You’re not doing anyone a favor by leaving your trash for someone else to pick up. It’s so disrespectful and if you can’t appreciate the outdoors and respect it, then maybe people ought to leave their pets at home. Other than that, it was beautiful as always!

Biked on 5/5/20. We got to the TH around 5pm and it was pretty empty. Had a beautiful bike ride from the Big Easy TH to the terminus next to Tunnel 5. If you start at Big Easy, it is a gradual uphill cycle with a few small climbs. Then you will fly going downhill back! A very fun trail, and not crowded when I went, but I would caution cyclists not to speed because there are some blind turns which could get scary if the trail was more populated.

Did 6.7 miles on bikes. Nice flat paths with some incline. Great spots to stop and relax by the creek.

Nice paved nature walk. Good for young kids or elderly. Minimal incline. Only negative is that it’s runs right by the busy road

Rode 4/5/2020. 98% of trail was dry besides a few short spots in the shade still covered in snow. Going west is a little bit of exercise on a bike, but nothing crazy. Going back is fun, felt like mostly downhill. Lots a nice places to stop and enjoy the river.

Extremely easy wide paved path. Water access. Only downside is it’s right next to Rte. 6 with lots of noise from traffic.

Great trail. Icy and snowy. But gorgeous. Can’t wait to hike again when it’s a little more snowy out. But junipers loop trail is across and perfect

This is a great trail for anyone with mobility challenges. It’s paved and relatively flat. It’s a pretty, along Clear Creek. It does hang close to the road so there is road noise. Good for bikes, strollers or scooters. Almost no snow today.

Road 8 miles in under 2 hours up and down the Clear Creek through the gorgeous canyon views. Going back east once making it to the furthest West Point was a downhill rewarding breeze after the small inclines east. Overall it was a good workout but easy paved bike path.

Beautiful day road biking along Clear Creek Canyon. *Please Note that the Peaks to Plains trail now starts at the Big Easy Trailhead just east of Mayhem Gulch

Since I was not supposed to be at Mayhem Gulch and Juniper Loop Trail per non-hiking day, decided to cross the highway by using the tunnel under the bridge to check out this trail. The trail was nicely made(concrete) and bridges are cool, nice run by the creek. I saw few rafting boats. You can also walk by the creek and sit by it once you get to some areas. No shades but it was a cloudy day, so it helped. Have fun! #42 08/04/2019

I agree with other posts. Easy paved trail that is great for families. Saw some young kids on bikes and a few strollers. Grateful for cloud cover today since most of trail is exposed. I really didn’t like the noise from highway and smell of diesel from trucks. That is why I cut the hike short.

Hiked the trail from the Mayhem Gulch trailhead back uphill. The trail was clean, the creek was blown out with this season's tremendous runoff, though I assume Clear Creek and Mayhem Creek are usually fairly rough. The trail was paved and super stroller friendly since we had the little dude with us in the pram. Weather rolled in on us about 40 minutes in, so we had to turn back. There's little shelter along the trail, but it is pleasant despite the car noise.

Very easy beginner trail. Can make it what you want by going further, biking, rucking, or jogging.

Nice easy trail along the river. The views are really pretty. A bummer that it’s so close to the road, very noisy.

Can’t wait til they finish connecting this trail all the way to golden and up to the peaks. Paved the whole way, can’t wait to take my road bike on here or run. Awesome views, loved the creek the whole way, was so peaceful because 6 is closed so NO ONE was on the trail except some rock climbers climbing which was super cool to watch. Even saw some rams! Plenty of bathroom break options too. Excited about this trial and it’s options for sure.
