Lovely hike along the creek. Very icy during the winter, bring poles or micro spikes. Nice view at the top of surrounding mountains and the town

Nice easy shaded trail. Easy enough for the dog as he made it up just fine. View of Kittredge was pretty nice.

Nice trail. Beautiful day for hiking in January! Views were awesome. This trail is an actual loop. We measured 2.8 miles then walked along the creek to make it 3.0 miles.

Beautiful trail. Like the variety of terrain. Rock climbers can find decent bouldering here. The first half is a little steep but rewarding! Heart rate up to a beautiful view. A quick and rewarding hike.

Great hike if your crunched for time & need a quick mountain getaway close to home. Miles tracked for the loop was only 2.76, not 3 as stated.

Nice variety of terrain. Some tough elevation gain for a little stretch but still fun! The view from the top is great and makes for a good, quick hike.

This seemed like a more easy to moderate trail. Beautiful!

We go in the second trailhead. Love the shade and the little brook. The wildflowers were pretty near the first of August. My 3-year-old made it up on his own. It's a good workout.

Nice walk along the creek for the lower trail. Switchbacks get steeper, but still and easy hike. Top 200 yards to the top are hardest (for an easy trail!). Worth the view from the point of the town of Kittridge and panorama of Mt Evans. Nice easy walk on the way down.

Lots of uphill out and down hill back. I would call it closer to moderate. Great views at the top.

This was a relatively easy trail to carry my two year old up and down. There weren't any technical areas and only a short stretch of multi use trail so I only had to pass one mountain biker. Really nice views from the top and a pleasant trail all around.
Well- maintained. Plenty of shade.

great, quick hike with decent elevation and a nice path. parts of the trail overlap a bike trail.

Bonus for the trail being relatively quiet and free of more than a handful of hikers/bikers.

Great short hike with a fairly steady incline to the top. Walking along a stream for the first 1/2 mile. Amazing views from the top and plenty of trees to hang the hammock or rocks to lay in the sun. We ran the way down. The track is mostly wide and smooth enough to run but definitely a few slow spots.
