Hiked this as part of a larger 8.5 mile loop. Palmer trail probably has the best views.

great trail and beautiful if you're a local or already coming through town but not worth going out of your way for.

Nice well maintained trails. There are views from every angle and you get to see a bit of wildlife. Recommend for all skill level.

Lovely walk through the Garden, lots of mud and ice which made some areas treacherous. Still five stars because the weather was absolutely perfect, and very minimal traffic.

Some nice views on the way. Very icy at the top and the loop back was a bit hairy. My 6 and 3 year old boys and I made it round but we really took our time.

The views were amazing, but the sheer number of people was huge drawback. Still, I don't regret braving the crowds. Lots of great photo-ops. Fun Jr. Ranger program available for youngsters.
