Great hike. Tons of sunshine. Heavily trafficked.

Awesome hike. Moderate is accurate.

Parking was available. Pretty quiet trail. Lots of incline the first mile with small rocks pebbles. You're pretty exposed to the sun the whole time. It's buggy but not bad. The lake was very pretty at the top. Saw an otter. Wouldn't do it again but I feel it was cool enough that one should get up there and check it out. Good fishing spot!

It's a great workout, and you hike by two lakes. it's a little steep in spots, but just take your time.

I would recommend this trail for those who enjoy hiking wider paths. There are a few windy narrow paths just off the major path. Mountain biking up the path is extremely difficult due to the various types of ground and at some points the water erosion separates the path. Other than that, this was one of the funniest trips we’ve been on in a long time. The lakes are clear and beautiful. You can see the fish swimming. Blue dragon flies hover over the lake.

Absolutely love this trail. I've been to this trail every week now and there's always another path to take and sight see. Beautiful, lush, quiet, everything I can ask for in a trail. Definitely recommend coming here especially if you're a pretty skilled hiker cause some of the paths you can take do get very steep and rocky.

Steep up hill but nothing that you can’t master if you’ve hiked a few times. Def kid friendly! Bring a hammock for the reservoir! Super relaxing up there

Novice hikers. Made it to the first reservoir and casted a line a few times. Rain came in and made our way back. Trail is in good shape and there are some nice sights. Will be back soon.

Beautiful views. The bugs took away from the enjoyment. Trekking poles useful given the scree. Lots of sun with limited shade so hot on a summer morning

Beautiful hike. Beautiful reservoirs. Not sure where the trail ended as we headed back after 2.2 miles (past 2nd reservoir).

There are two lakes. The second one is beautiful and lot of room to see all of nature

Nice little afternoon hike! As others have stated, cool rock formations and beautiful wildflowers along the way. Don’t miss the upper reservoir, the views are stunning and it’s the perfect spot for a rest break!

Wide trail/road going up. A bit steep with gravel. But lakes are gorgeous and plenty to see. Pretty wild flowers too-

Did this trail on the way up to Balanced Rock. Very straight-forward trail that's easy to follow. Be mindful of not only other hikers and trail runners, but MTBers as well. The area gets plenty of foot traffic, but once past the second reservoir it does get a little quieter. Not much else to add to what's already been posted. Lovely views and rock formations. Take the time and effort to make it to the second reservoir, and don't forget to turn around for the view leading out of the canyon.

Nice small lake. Lots of gravel through most.

Beautiful rock formations aling the way. Reservoir at the end is worth the steep hike. Very busy and trail is gravely so wear good shoes. At top take the right side path and wander in to the canyon for some peace and nice meadows. on way back down make sure you take the lower path when trail splits or you will end up back in the town and then have to walk back down to the parking lot at Trailhead.
