Awesome site, loved to be able see ruins up close without crowds. Easy ride back, tied horses off and walked back to ruin site.

Outstanding trail that is well marked and not crowded. you will most likely find yourself out here alone. It's a beautiful area. Some scrambling on the trail but not bad. Our 4 year old absolutely loved this one. Petroglyphs along the trail and you can walk right up to the main ruin. Just a great hike if you are in the area. Please note, off the main road, about 3 miles on a dirt road so keep your eye on the weather. if it rains at all you'll be stuck. This is just north of Hovenweep National Monument so please consider this if you plan a trip to the area.
