We wanted to do this trail but found a road closed sign when we came to junction close to trail. We went ahead and walked the closed road which had : ft of snow. We enjoyed the walk and the beautiful scenery. We did not make it all the way to the official trail.

This trail was beautiful - some parts were steep and rocky but it really leveled out and all the creeks were lovely on the way to the lake. Easily marked.

We took our two year old on this trail. It is pretty easy, steep in some spots and just long enough. Really beautiful!

Think this was one of my favourites in the Pagosa area. Short and easy but so pretty. The first little bit is pretty steep but it flattens out through the beautiful aspens and then to the lake with great views of ridges. Really enjoyed it!
