Enjoyable, but nothing really to write home about. The name is certainly very misleading.

The "Oh-My-God" statement may be how ridiculous it is to include this in All-Trails - this is a dirt road that actually turns into a paved road... There is an off-shoot right before the mine - can't recall the name that is a bit more of a trail; however, even that is a stretch... The area claims to have some interesting mines, but all are on private property and they are selling property to build houses on - if you are looking for some fun or interesting sights, this is not an area you should go...

Not very eventful to be honest. Barely even a trail. Starts off a little bumpy but then turns into a road. You probably could take your Ferrari down it.

So, it’s mainly a flat dirt road that has a decent descent into Idaho Spring. It’s not a 4x4 trail, there was a ford escort on the road. It has some washouts, but nothing major. I am sure it will be beautiful during the fall. And the signage isn’t that great - even though it says OMG on the signs, you really are just following Virginia Canyon Road. So as long as your seeing those signs your on the right path. It’s a short drive, with some winding drop offs, but nothing scary.

Short drive with good views. Makes more sense to head to Mt. Evans instead of this trail!

This is a well maintained road. It's not the kind of place I would hike. But we drove this and it was fantastic. The views are breathtaking and the road was in great shape, even after a rain. We saw a Mustang drive by, so any car is fine in good weather. It doesn't take long when driving so is a must see if you are in the area with a vehicle.

Not really a trail, but great views. You can turn right instead of left for central city and wind your way back down the hill back to Idaho springs. Really recommend it!

Rough and scenic road. Excellent views of the surrounding mountains and several mining towns in the vicinity.

Do you have a 2wd car and you would like to see some great views of Colorado? This is your trail. Do you have anything more capable than a 2wd car and want to push it's limits? This is just a great way to get you where you want to go. I really enjoy this drive. I believe that people think that this will be a challenging trail. It is not. I have driven this mostly dirt road many times in a Mercedes Benz E300 to get from Central City to Idaho Springs. I didn't worry at any point about damaging the vehicle. This included the 19" run flats that the car uses. That should give you an idea of just how easy this road is. With that said, it is well worth driving this road. The views are fantastic and unobstructed by guard rails at many points. There are a lot of buildings and mining structures to see on the drive as well. Given the road's proximity to Black Hawk, it is a great drive for people visiting Colorado to get out and see the sights. You could easily do this in ANY rental car and have no fear of damage to the vehicle. Fear of heights might be an issue for some though...

Was super easy. Washboard gravel is about it. A few mining buildings. My guess is if it was snow covered it’d be fun.

Not a bad road for a couple of hours of exploring. Nothing technical but we did find some mud and puddles that were fun and got the truck dirty.

Like many others have said, this is a dirt road. Easily passable in all vehicles. Pretty great views too! Couple spots that still had a tiny bit of snow, but overall the road was dry.

Easy. Little harder with snow but just stay out of the ditches! Saw people getting pulled out.

Easy drive, nothing special but good if you just want to drive on some dirt in the mountains.

This "off road" trail leave more to be desired. Think of this trail and nothing more than a dirt road. It ends in central city right in front of Colorados first recreational dispensary which is a plus.

Very easy even a car can do it! Great views and it leads you through an old gold mine town and ends with center city casinos

Was a fun little beginner trail. We sort of went a different direction and there were a couple of icy spots. I just have a stock Jeep deserthawk so the icy spots got a little iffy. But overall it was a lot of fun!

OMG road actually ends quickly and turns into a different road. The Omg road itself, yes, is easy and boring BUT once you keep going there are awesome old mines and history to enjoy.
