Great trail today. Hike to the 3.3 mile elevation. Beautiful aspen forest. Should be good for a couple more days

Nice and easy climb with wonderful views overlooking vail. It is a little bit noisy with I70 in the background. This would be a perfect starter trail if you wanted something close to the heart of vail.

Great hike. All uphill. Our kids are 4 and under. Little difficult for them.

Nice views of Vail. Well maintained trail that dips into Aspens, to sage brush, to Aspens.

July 17. Started at the Sandstone trailhead. We didn't make it all the way. Lots of switchbacks. Narrow trail. Constant incline but doable for an average person from Michigan. Nice views. My son I used it for XC conditioning.
