Rim rock loop is closed. This trail was so overrun with mountain bikes we spent most of the hike waiting on the side of the trail. Dusty and not many people wearing masks.

This exact trail is closed but it is easy enough to start this trail, follow a different trail, then get back on this trail. Would recommend!

Awesome hike, not too hard with some great views. You have to share the trails with mountain bikers which isn’t a problem until you get to the narrow trails going up and down.

Did this trail at sunset last night. The Rim Rock trail is closed thru July 31 or it would have been perfect to watch walking along the top. Lots of bikers even on a Thursday evening. Would definitely do this again! Would go left on table top and take cottonwood trail to the top and just hang out to watch sunset then go back down the same way.

Awesome bike trail for getting cardio cardio in. Plus great views with dope rock formations. We prefer counterclockwise. Tackle the big road hill first then you get in some great windy downhill. A lot of people were going the other way though too. All in direct sun so wear spf and bring lots of water or start early before it gets too hot.

Beautiful morning, just two areas muddy way below the waterfall on east side. Only about six people at 6am, many deer & bunnies. Plenty of social distancing!

Steep hike for first 10 minutes, then you're on top of a tabletop Dr. Suess-like environment. Once you're up there; it's a walk that you can choose your adventure on. Can be 30 minutes or much longer.

Saw a rattlesnake on the south edge of the trail where it gets closest to highway 58. Little one right in the middle of the trail tucked next to a rock. Watch out!

More for mountain bikers, was jumping out of their way every 5 minutes. City views. Not particularly beautiful. Good for trail running (again, getting out of the way of bikers).

Great hike! Would do again. Lots of bikers that came speeding down the trail with no caution, so just be aware.

Trail is almost totally dry with a few muddy spots. Nice views in the back and good length without too much elevation. Very popular with mountain bikers. There seemed to be a lot more bikers in the afternoon.

Great trail for people and dogs. Great views of the mountains at the top and Golden on the side. Lots of bikes, so go early if you don’t want a lot of traffic. Some places are muddy, but they are small spread out sections of the trail. Rim Rock Trail at the top of the loop is closed until June. You can take other routes at the crossroads, cuts out a little over 1.5 miles.

I did this hike yesterday for the first time and boy does this not disappoint. First mile up is a bit of incline but nothing crazy pretty good little leg work out. Views amazing some parts reminded me of Mars feeling. Other parts had a huge wall mountains and nighttime is great.
