Easy access for a quick mellow hike. A lot of the trail is pretty smooth making it good for trail running too. Would also be a great hike for kids. From this location there are a lot of options for different loops or connections to the Mesa trail.

Of shade and sun!! Lots of offshoot trails if you want to make it a longer hike. Just awesome!!!

An easy, well maintained trail close to boulder. There were very few people hiking today and no mountain biking allowed, which is a nice change. Hiked almost 7.5 miles today. There are many options for distance and scenery depending on which of the many intersecting trails you decide to take. Started at the trailhead by homestead trail.
