A great spot to watch the sunrise! This trial is mostly in the sun so an early start was nice. On the eastern side you can see the city and on the western side the rolling foothills. Great views and overall hike.

Went on a Friday morning around 6:45 - very light traffic on the trail and parking was fine. Super rocky so wear good shoes.

I enjoyed this trail. It is a decent workout and provides really nice views of the City. This trail is fairly rocky so be prepared to watch your step. Also, watch out for the poison ivy - there is a lot of it in a large patch on a narrow section of trail about 1/4 of the way up from the trailhead.

Definitely recommend hiking boots, it’s quite rocky. This was a more challenging moderate trail than others, but very enjoyable. I appreciated the offline map, there were a few places we nearly ended up off-trail.

Great morning hike before it got to hot. It wasn't crowded yet and made for a nice workout. The flowers along the trail are awesome.

This trail is pretty rocky most of the way with segments of sandy gravel type path for the rest of the trail. I'm not sure if I'm just out of shape but this trail was pretty challenging for me. Signs are limited and I did accidentally venture off the path at one point. Overall really enjoyable, challenging, hike with great views.

Loved this hike, great views and pretty easy. Please wear a mask, the trail is very narrow and it is hard to socially distance. Went early in the morning and there was some shade but it gets hot.

Very sunny until the back part of the loop. Lots of rocks on the trail. Did it with tennis shoes but would be better with hiking boots. Six kids (ages 4-10) and two adults and one dog. Narrow trail but not too many others on the path.

Enjoyable overall hike. Be careful once you are on the loop to avoid the private trail to the peak. Pretty much entirely exposed so avoid on hotter days. Would be great for the fall!

Wore tennis shoes this go around and will def be wearing hiking boots next time; my ankles aren’t the best and it is VERY rocky. Gorgeous hike though. A little highway/road noise but the views and wildflowers are worth it. I would rate this more as a moderate/difficult as the first half of this is basically all up. Wear a hat and sunscreen for sure as there is very little/no shade on most of the trail. Also, THERE ARE VERY FEW TRAIL SIGNS and there are a couple of forks. I hung right on both of them and was fine but it wasn’t really clear to me that those were the correct routes. Lucky guess. I’m sure it all loops together eventually BUT MORE TRAIL SIGNS ARE NEEDED
