Tried to go here today, it’s closed for some reason. There was a ranger at the entrance, turning cars around. I don’t believe it was Covid related. Nothing on the Jeffco website

This was a great little area for getting out for a little walk. Would be perfect for family outing in these antisocial times. Dogs allowed, a few fly fishermen, and other hikers. A really pleasant place to get out for a bit. 4/24/2020

Lovely easy trail with plenty of peace and quiet. We went on a Saturday and only saw maybe 6 more groups of people there. Nice place to bring your lunch and picnic beforehand too!

Lovely little park, with well paved paths to walk along. Don't miss the cute gazebo behind the picnic area near the parking lot

Short little easy trail. Lots of water options and pretty views.

Not much shade, Adelaide had a big melt down. Nice shady creek side spot for splashing. Had a picnic and played in the water. Picnic spot five stars, walk, 3 stars

Giving this a 5 as it's a very easy trail that was perfect for us with my wife recovering from injury. It was Sunday and pretty crowded but most people stick to around the lake. On the Narrow Gauge portion of the loop you're likely to be alone with just a few other hikers. We did continue on the Narrow Gauge Trail for a bit after the second bridge but at the park boundary there is a large pool of water with some improvised stepping stones. We turned back from there. Trail is in great condition, very easy hike with lovely sights and wildlife, really something for everyone on this trail.

Trail was snow/ice covered and muddy but no issues with yak tracks. Overall a nice short flat hike.

Short and sweet. Very pleasant. 9am Sunday with very few other people on the trail. Bike trail seemed more popular. Great picnic facilities, too.

Easy peasy! Anyone can manage a hike on this trail; it's completely flat and covered in gravel, with no rocky sections at all. Also would be nice for mountain biking. Surprisingly, while the parking areas at Pine Valley were crowded, the trail itself was practically empty, even on Memorial Day. Such beautiful surroundings, the kind you rarely see with a trail as easy terrain-wise as this one! I highly recommend it.

Little trail. Easy for the family / dogs. Branches off to other trails as well. Plenty of parking. Alot of water to sit near on the edge of the river as well so if the dogs need water there's plenty.

great location. The lower trails around the park are very easy; however, the ascending trails up and down the mountain can become moderate to difficult in the areas without steps due to loose gravel and narrow paths.
