If you drive up Crest Dr most of the way to the gate, this hike is short and pretty straight forward. It helps cut the time down if doing Lincoln, Cameron, Democrat, and Bross

Everyone needs to know this: hiking trail is NOT accessible via Crest Drive (off of Roberts Road). This is all private property& homeowners do NOT want you parking up here. These 14’ers (Democrat, Lincoln, Bross) are ONLY accessible via Kite Lake - about 5 miles west of Alma on Buckskin Rd. Homeowners WILL have your vehicle towed if you start your hike from Roberts/Quartzville/Crest Drive.

Went last week, 6/26, very nice as you start up with beautiful wild flowers this time of year! It was VERY windy up along the ridge but gorgeous views. Definitely will do again, hopefully without 50 mph gusts!!

Amazing hike! With views you'll remember forever.

Just understand that you're starting the hike at 12k feet so, depending on where you normally live, the air could be drastically thinner.

Make sure to drink plenty of water as you'll underestimate the need to drink. Also bring gloves and a beanie/hood for the wind chill.

Lastly, keep an eye on the weather as you won't want to be stuck at 14k+ with a storm rolling in. I'd recommend starting between 6&7am and you'll be able to hit all four summits in 6 hours.

Hiked up from Kite Lake, which now I think is closed. It was a good day for a hike. I did all three 14ers.
