Plotted only for highly skilled mountaineering individuals. This is an extremely difficult, strenuous trail which traverses up and down nine mountains all topping 14,000 feet in elevation. There is no trail, special care must be taken to follow the map as there will be no signs of any trail. The map is for winter use due to various water obstructions which will freeze over. Before you start, do a final gear check to make sure you have everything you need. Begin the trail and set pace to cover a max total of 10 miles per day in order to slowly acclimate to the constant changes in elevation. There is a marker on the map at every 10 mile stretch to aid in a general camp ground area. When you reach the end of the hike, have someone pick you up or call an Uber to take you back to your car. You could backtrack the trail and turn it into an out and back, just ensure you have enough supplies.

This hike is not for the faint of heart. Beautiful views and very cold. Stay warm!
