We really enjoyed this hike! It’s not a bad hike for beginners and offers really nice views of downtown, Red Rocks, and the mountains!

Great trail with your kids! Nice and well maintained. Our 5 and 7.5 year old did not have any issues and want to come back.

Nice hike close town. Easy trails with great views. Ruins are pretty cool. Good sun and some shade along the way. Several trails you can add on or not to make the trail shorter or longer to your liking

Really enjoyed this hike. It was cool and foggy, but it was still lovely. Pretty easy hike if you’re in shape. The ruins are fascinating.

Wide trail from the parking lot- good for all ages. Rolling path. Nice views from the castle. Interesting info signs. Trails are well marked.
Was there by 8:30 and top lot was full. Saw a couple deer.

nice easy loop. went on the 4 July. wasn't as busy as expected. took my three boys under 7 and my 10 year old nephew.

keep in mind this trail and it's proximity to civilization. one of the only "closer" trails I do to Denver. with that said if you want a more enjoyable experience get there early

Pretty views and easy but not too easy of a hike. Perfect for a quick weekend morning. Became a little crowded as we finished but if you go early it’s not bad. However there are some dummies because It is easier and I stepped in gum at the end of the hike. Leave nature how you found It people!

New to Colorado from Chicago so this was only my second hike since moving out here. Chose it due to the proximity to Denver as well as it being moderate and it didn’t disappoint. Great mountain and meadow views. Wasn’t flat, some areas were moderately tough with the inclines but flattened out soon there after. Got busy after 10 am with a lot of families so I’d suggest start early and beat the rush!

It's not flat, that's for sure. But not too hard. There's variation. Some trees, some sunny spots. Rocky path. Some small streams. Everyone had their dogs on leashes. It was beautiful. Several great views.

This trail is so lame. If you want anything resembling a challenge, stay away. Views are average and too heavily trafficked. Find better trails.

A lot of cars in parking lot at trailhead, but very few eople on trails on Sunday afternoon. Dirt with somewhat rocky paths wide enough in most places for friends to walk side by side...lovely fall colors. Constant cardio workout, but not extreme.

Most of this hike is shaded. Plenty of picnic tables at the parking lot, as well as at the shelter located on Tower Trail.

My kids, 11 and 9 loved this train. We went to see the castle ruins which was an easy hike. Then we hiked Two-Which was short but had some incline and then we hiked Walters's Dream which you can see the beginning plans for s summer White House in 1914. It was about 5 miles total. Then we went over to see Red Rocks!

I loved this with our kids, ages 8 and under, and for our speed, this is one of my favorite hikes we've found so far! Dirt paths are pretty stroller friendly. Really wide, smooth trail, and gorgeous views. It's a great hiking option for visitors to Colorado who haven't caught up with the altitude. Restrooms are nice and clean. We will definitely be back to check out other loops!
