Great variation on the trail. Came in on the east side of Mt Falcon up the castle trail. Switchbacks, wildlife and some tight shoulders when multiple people are using in areas. Overall a great trail with some beautiful views of not only the amphitheater but the mountains on the other side! Recommend!

I do not recommend this entire loop for running! While most of the run is on trail the last 4 miles or so (clockwise) are on winding switchback roads with minimal shoulder width. Those were the fastest miles ran of the whole loop purely out of fear!
