From Aspen take the Castle Creek Rd., past Ashcroft to where you start up Pearl Pass. Montazuma Basin is up a road to the right that is in better condition than the Pearl Pass road.

10 months agoBeautiful long hike. Full Creek and waterfalls. Dog enjoyed off leash. Would wear good hiking boots and take walking poles. Lots of snow through much of the hike. Even an area with felled trees from an avalanche.
