Great trail for dogs. Only passed one couple on the entire trail, which makes for a great hike. Gorgeous, sunny day with a crisp breeze, but you did have to navigate melting snow and mud. I would definitely come back with the pups.

I found the start of the Molly Moon Trail fully overgrown. Were it not for having a pro account, which notified me I went off trail, I would have completely missed it. I don’t recall seeing a sign either, so be aware. Lots of animal droppings along the trail. Went through roughly eight gates, some along the Molly Moon Trail were barbed wire that were a bit tricky. Overall, it was a nice hike, on the easy side of moderate.

arrived around 10 am on weds morning 7/31. there was nobody in the parking lot. to get to molly moon you need to go to lady moon parking lot as it off shoots off that trail 1.1 miles into lady moon. the trail is a little overgrown and could use some maintenance. lots of beautiful wildflowers right now. no water crossings. trails are clearly marked with signage though. when you get to molly lake, you just stop at the lake. no benches. you can sit on the ground. no way to really walk around the lake. we did see some toads and ducks at the lake.

Beautiful hike yesterday. Lots of wildflowers everywhere, took plenty of pictures. Hardly anyone there, mostly had the trail to ourselves. Started around 2pm, great half day hike. There was some spots that where muddy, and there was just a lot of flies but one coating of bug spray was fine.

Did this trail today (7/13). Started at about 7:30 and only a few other cars at the trailhead at that time. The trailhead the directions lead you to are not accurately synced with the trail shown on AllTrails map according to my GPS. Ended up following Granite Trail the entire way and logged about 8.5 miles. Chose this trail specifically for my pup. Lots of switching between sun and shaded areas. Most of the creeks are pretty dried up now so not much water until the lake itself. Wildflowers are the in full bloom and all over this trail! Overall, a pretty level hike from start to finish.

This is a gorgeous trail!! Wildflowers, meadows, mountain views, aspens, pines, and a trail network you can explore. This trail connects to the Lady Moon Trail. The trail network allows you to make your hike as long/short as you like. Depending what route you take there may be up or downhill, but it is always at an easy grade. Trail has both shady and sunny spots. Mountain biking allowed July-Oct. It is seriously so beautiful here!!!
