dogs on leash
good for the kiddos
Easy enough for the kiddos to tag along. Definitely a fun family trail.
My girls and I love this trail. Great hike for families with children. Lots of opportunities for them to "explore" without going too far off the path.
Pretty, although heavily trafficked hike. The mine is cool. Not a big fan of all the dogs and their "remains" on the trail, however.
Great morning or evening hike in the summer. Very kid friendly, so much so that my youngest of 5 didn't struggle and enjoyed the hike multiple times.
Friday was wet, icy, muddy and fun!
NOT 5.3 miles. This trail is posted as 1.3 miles at the trailhead. But a good, easy hike all the same. Beautiful canyon and interesting destination.
gentle hike. popular with kids and school groups. otherwise nice canyon scenery. gets warm early.
very nice hike with awesome scenery
This trail is really fun. Lots of up and downhills so you don't get too tired at once. Does have some tricky technical areas, especially if you go up into the mine. Beautiful scenery! Not sure about the 5.3 miles though. The sign at the trailhead says 1.3 miles, that's 2.6 round trip and going off my step counter and the time it took me and a young kid, I don't see the 5 miles being accurate
Nice trail. Family loved it.
great hike. Nice scenery.
