Amazing views and great trail. Not too difficult on the legs and mild elevation gain!

Flat easy to follow trail that goes by the rock cliffs. Can be pretty icy in winter, but around this time of year pretty nice hike.

Easy like and pretty scenery. Not very many people when I was there in September. Easy parking.

WalkingNo shade

Beautiful rock formations, lots of trail options, walked 4 miles around the park today. Parking was great, there are three parking lots so we were able to find a spot. Only thing that I wish I knew before I went was not a lot of shade! I got burnt real bad while I was out for 2.5 hours.

WalkingGreat!

There are so many trail options to make this a moderate or difficult hike. Lots of areas are marked with signs saying you need climbing gear to go on. There are also lots of paths that seem great for mountain biking. I wasn’t too impressed with the water up close, but it made for a nice addition to the view with Garden of the Gods in the background. We took the Red Rock Canyon Trail to the Mesa Trail to add a little more distance. It was perfect in the evening so the sun wasn’t on us the whole time. Be aware there are actually 3 parking areas. You likely want to hit the one in the middle (not the first break off to the right of the roundabout).

Went counter clockwise. Missed seeing some of the water and ridges in the way out since we hit the wrong path. Ridges and trees are beautiful. Some pretty decent city, mountain, and Garden of the Gods views. Quarry and path through the rocks is nice
