The sheer walls and extreme narrowness of the Black Canyon are appreciated along this trail as well as views from the base of the Morrow Point Dam. A footbridge over Crystal Reservoir provides access to the north shore of the reservoir, to which this trail follows.

Beautiful views. Make sure to take a right at the first Y on the trail. It will take you back to a hidden waterfall!

Great hike for kids. My 4 year old did just fine.

Very nice trail for an easy and quick hike. Lovely views in all directions. Dog friendly (just keep them on leash, as the trails become very narrow in spots) with plenty of areas to let your dog get their paws wet and take a dip.
