It was a nice hike. Occasional groups of obnoxious teenagers but other than that it's peaceful.

Was a nice little walk with the dogs. The water is beautiful, some people were out trying to fish, it was a bit windy out though. Some shade. Would be a great trail for biking or jogging.

Overcast with just a little bit of rain in the very beginning. Otherwise, excellent conditions with a nice, leisurely hike around the lake. Great mountain views on the south and east side of the lake. Decent amount of wildlife both in and around the lake.

Look. Everyone loves a mountain trail. For a city trail this is beautiful. Trail is great for running or walking the dog.

This trail and McKay Lake Open Space is located entirely within Westminster although the land to the south of the lake is within Broomfield.

A lovely gentle walk for the senior set. At the age of 80 yrs. it was very simulating. Lovely views-well maintained trails. LOVED IT! A new favourite trail...

Cute trail though no one practicing 6ft of distancing besides like 2 people (thank you to those ones who didn’t get super close and personal). Busy trail with bikers, kids on bikes, runners and I’m beyond myself with confusion on why NO ONE is practicing 6 ft apart?!! This is why we can’t have nice things. Avoid this trail if you value your health. Most stressful walk with the kids ever.

Flat, safe, and simple. A perfect little trail if you just want to get out somewhere close and take advantage of a sunny day.

Very easy stroll around the lake with well-maintained trails. Pretty views of mountains and trees on the lake at sunrise. Birds are overwhelmingly Canada geese, but several Red-winged blackbirds, Black-capped chickadees, gulls, and sparrows.

Aloha inter webs, I had a nice walk around a pretty cool little lake on a nice warm day. I walked it all the way around once and then turned around and went back the other way made for a good afternoon walk. #letsgoforawalk

All Trails you distance for this trail is wrong. The city of Broomfield maps the trail at 2.7 miles while the city of Westminster maps it at the distance you give. Walking this trail and measuring my walk, it’s closer to 3 miles.
