White ranch park is a gorgeous area! Very well maintained and trails are all marked. The drive there is also very beautiful, especially with the trees changing. I think the trials are more geared towards bikers than hikers with dogs. There were some narrow areas on the trial where is was difficult to move your dog out of the way quickly when bikers are not slowing down. Overall, great area! Just be cautious of bikers.

pretty easy trail starts down hill reguardless which way you start. great views overlooking Golden. Went in the middle of the week so there was hardly anyone on the trail. I'm sure the weekends it gets super busy being so close to Denver.

Really great hike. The views are awesome and it is well maintained. A lot of great wildflowers right now!

Great trail for our family hike. Views of downtown but mostly greenery. Had enough elevation gain to feel like workout. Not muddy. Trails well laid out.

Easy little trail that is great for walking your dog. Definitely recommend. Perfect for a morning hike.

Great trail but the mountain bikers go way to fast down hill without always giving right of way to hikers and rarely announce their presence. That makes this hard to recommend if you have dogs, elderly or children. Otherwise a great trail with amazing views and an ok amount of shady spots to take a break.

This is a really nice moderate trail. I took my dog and he really enjoyed it, but be sure to bring your dog water because there is no natural water along the trail. The trail still had lots of snowy/icy patches and a fair amount of mud. My least favorite part of the trail was the amount of bikers. The trail is very narrow so we would have to stop every 25 yards or so to let bikers past us. Over all a nice trail but not the prettiest trail I’ve been on.

Great trail! Some snow in places, nothing too bad. Beautiful views! A little up hill in places, not bad, just enough to get your heart rate up a bit. Lots of connecting trails at the park. Will definately be back, lots of trails to explore!

Great view and well maintained trails. But there were groups of rude mountain bikers, which is unusual. Most mountain bikers in other trails have been so nice and courteous. Trail is narrow, and they rode without slowing down. one after another. We had to climb up side of the narrow trail so that they would not hit us. It was a beautiful sunny yet cool day. I noticed my dog was seeking for shady areas constantly. And I got the worst sun poisoning when we got home. Do not forget bringing a lot of water!

Led a meetup group around this trail 1/13/18. Really great trail for most beginners because of its moderate incline and relatively short distance. It's been a warm, dry winter, and there was no snow on trail.

Great location. Trail takes you down first so the first 1.5miles coming from Sawmill Trail nice decline. Then some moderate incline the remaining mile but overall pretty easy hike. Lots of shade and wind so it was cold but no snow yet! Love this park!

Beautiful area! Nice easy trail until you go past the campground and the Sawmill trail ends. We took a right on Maverick trail and it was uphill with a lot of rocks. When we got to the top of the mountain we took Belcher trail to the upper parking lot. Nice hike!
