Part of Loveland's Mariana Butte trail system, the Mariana Butte Loop trail starts at the Mariana butte golf course parking lot and loops around Mariana Butte. The first part of the trail provides panoramic views of the front range, while the second part follows the dips down around the butte and loops back to the parking lot. While hiking be sure to take the Mariana Butte trail to the top to enjoy the views from the top of the Butte.

Glad the city put this trail in. Used to walk "cross-country" to get to the top of the Butte. This trail provides a nice loop around the Butte but also a spur to the summit. Nice view from the top.

You can combine this loop, hit the Hidden Hogback Trail, and go to the top of the Butte while your at it and get a nice little 2+ mile hike with a full 360 degree view of Loveland, the foothills and the Rocky Mountains.

Next time I would connect to the other Mariana Butte trail and the Hogback trail. An easy urban hike.
