Nice easy trail for beginners/out of towners. There’s a parking lot at the trailhead that can fit 10-12 cars. We went at 1 PM on Saturday 3/17 and there were 3 cars in the lot. Ran into a few others (mostly cross country skiers) but the trail was by no means crowded. The trail has a good mix of trees with shade and open areas with great views of the surrounding terrain. The snow was well packed and we had snow shoes but you could definitely get by with spikes on hiking boots. I’d definitely recommend for a good easy winter hike.

Very nice, quiet trail through the trees. Isolated from the busy area of Breckenridge. We caught it on a fresh powder day which was perfect for snowshoeing. The markings to stay on trail were a little hard to follow so we broke trail for our own adventure.

Nice trail that climbs to 10900 feet. A little steep in some areas but easy enough if you take it slow. Great views through out! Nice river views. I suggest bringing lunch! Several areas to stop and eat with plenty of sunshine!

loved this trail! It started to snow while there but it wasn't bad at all and still had amazing views of the mountains around! very low key trail maybe saw 5 other hikers.
