Great hike with kids. Narrow in spots. Lots of shade. Downside is it runs alongside a road

A great "beginner hike" with the kids. It's scenic, and there are lots of places to stop and regroup (or play).

Lower Columbine trail is a beautiful easy trail, for a Saturday it was not crowded at all. Make sure to keep your dog on a leash , because it is close to the road.

lots of incline. Out & back trail that can be slippery with ice. nice dirt trail. "waterfall" is a tiny dam overflow, underwhilming for sure. Beautiful area with many real waterfalls close by.

Easy hike if you are looking for a short one. This is one of my favs when I don’t have a lot of time.

The Lower Columbine is a fantastic and easy trail, suitable for all ages and dogs. It’s a very quick hike, 30 minutes total. If you are looking for a tougher challenge, then head on up to the Mid and Upper Columbine Trails.

Nice easy trail but definitely heavily populated. We saw at least 10 different people in under a mile. Should be switched from “light” to “heavy”.
