Don’t go in May unless you plan to snow board. Road to lake is beyond covered in snow. Beautiful drive though!

A quiet place just off the road and down the hill from the much more crowded pass. Make sure you hit all three lakes. Great pictures of Grizzly. Short hike for all ages.

This was a great hike for my baby puppy who can’t do much distance yet, my older dogs were able to run around and have a good time and wear themselves out. Wildflowers are outrageous right now. Glad to find this small side spot.

A lot of bang for the buck on this little trail. Easy but beautiful scenery, wildflowers, etc. Much less crowded than the top of the pass a quarter mile up.

Recommend! Nice to explore without have to hike miles to get there. Wildflowers, lake, and scenic views. Will come back.

A great hike, especially for those of us with kids! A little elevation gain and 2 ponds to explore. The views were incredible and we even got to play in the snow!

Easy hike. Great views and great wildflowers. Was good with Evan. Wildflowers were at peak, normally would be earlier in the year. Forgot to stop recording, so have the trip back to our condo too!

Nice little trial - backside of loop is more a suggestion of a trail than an actual trail but it was OK. Pretty muddy in spots too.

The trail at the lake is really short but this is absolutely breathtaking. The trail at the top of the hill is longer and much more crowded. There was still snow around and ice in the lake.

Temporarily giving it a 1 star review as a warning to other people that it's currently still covered in snow.

We tried to do this trail, but the road to it is still entirely covered in snow. We weren’t prepared for that, so we moved on to check out the Loveland Pass landmark area instead.

nice side trip after skiing. lots of snow already this time of year and the lake is mostly frozen over. walk out a little ways from the lake to get some good views of the surrounding mountains.

It's a short hike and I did it in the afternoon shade meaning at that altitude it is freezing. Its ok to check out but don't go out of your way.

I was blown away by the views of this hike! There’s actually three ponds, if you go out a bit past the first one and the views from there are amazing! It’s super short and there’s not really any hills. Good for families with kids and for those not able to do much hiking but still want to see some crazy good views.

Breathtakingly beautiful and easy. We wanted a short little hike before dinner and boy did this location deliver. Gorgeous views 360 degrees. Make sure you hike out to the third pond!
