blowdown

There is a stretch of significant blowdown, starting shortly after crossing the creek for a second time. Watch for and follow the cairns and you should be fine.

First date hike, she's now my wife so it definitely works. Perfect 7/10

We enjoyed this trail for its wildflowers and views. Almost nobody else was there today. You do have to climb over fallen trees and navigate runoff that takes over parts of the trail. There is still snow on the trail near the summit. The trail deserves its designation as being difficult due to steepness, rocks and fallen trees. We look forward to going again once the snow is gone.
