Longer than stated on here. Ranger guided trail. Most exposure to sun on the first and last (loop) part of this trail. Small area of switchbacks that are little narrow in places-if you have kids, keep an eye on them. All in all, this was my favorite ranger led hike (I did them all). Take LOTS of water. Especially if hiking in warm temps. I can’t say that enough.

The hike does cost 5$ per person because it is ranger guided and the round trip is a couple more miles than it says on here. Ranger Doug lead the tour for our group and did an excellent job, very insightful into the history of the park.

It seems like it's a lot hotter in this cliff dwelling than the others. Guided tour only and it's the longest tour. One of the people in my group had to drop out after only 10 minutes. Stay hydrated!

NOTE: ALLTRAILS SAYS THIS IS 0.6 MILES..IT IS NOT! From the parking lot, you'll end up hiking about 2.24 miles. I would not rate this trail easy either...it's at least moderate, with possibility of strenuous based on your health and physical level.

This was our favorite of the ranger-guided hikes! You begin with a long trek on the mesa-top to the trailhead and then must descend down a steep, winding canyon trail. Of all the guided hikes, this one gives you the most time exploring the ruins freely. Our ranger was entertaining and very knowledgeable. just remember...you leave the way you came!

Nice to get to walk in a dwelling without paying for a tour.
