We took a two hour horse ride on this trail. Beautiful views of meadows, the river, several mountain ranges, wildflowers- really everything! I think this trail is great for horseback riding- it could be a little long and boring for hiking only.

We rode horses from the National Gateway Stables (near the Rocky Mtn. Ntl. Park Visitor Center) on a two hour walk through the National Park, around a hill on the NE of Little Horseshoe Park. Beautiful views of surrounding mountain peaks and an informative guide made the ride fun, even for my four-year-old.
