Little Horseshoe Park Trail is a 6.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Estes Park, Colorado that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Horses are also able to use this trail.
We rode horses from the National Gateway Stables (near the Rocky Mtn. Ntl. Park Visitor Center) on a two hour walk through the National Park, around a hill on the NE of Little Horseshoe Park. Beautiful views of surrounding mountain peaks and an informative guide made the ride fun, even for my four-year-old.
