Little Bear Peak is a 16.9 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Blanca, Colorado that offers scenic views and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from June until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

So scary ... so awesome... only party to summit today ...I had to use the rope after 15 yards up in hour glass cuz I’m not a good enough climber to make it ....rocks coming down gully, hour glass and near summit are a major threat. Once u get to hourglass ... stay focused and take breaks cuz the little bear will take ur life...

Climbed up the Northwest face. Not for the faint of heart as route finding isn't nearly the challenge as just plain staying alive. Watch out for loose rocks. Experienced climbers have died here.
