Took one of the off shooting trails that's on the map and ended up at the top of one of the mountains. There were a few cairns here and there to mark the trail, but by & large, the further I went the more I felt like I was just traipsing up the side of the mountain. The top has amazing views though of this side & Estes Park. I actually meant to hike Lily Mountain but didn't see the TH so just proceeded to the lake. All in all a fun adventure! Very little snow or ice.
Nice easy hike. Quick stair switch backs at first. I do a lot of hiking and found this trail to not be very well marked. Lots of off shoot trails. Washouts. Def have a copy of something or know where you are going. No service to look. Views are outstanding of Longs Peak, Meeker, twin sisters, and the Park.
Liked this hike. You can hike the circle around Lily Lake, or take the Ridge Trail which runs on the south side of the lake. Several switchbacks take you up the side of the mountain, Gives you a beautiful view of the lake and of Long's peak. If you enter the trail just off the parking lot it will end just off the west side of the lake trail, allowing you to finish the circle around the lake. Our three children of ages 5,6,and 7 were with us. They enjoyed all the climbing. No issues for them. great for families. Enjoy the views!
Great easy trail. It gets you away from all the traffic that goes around Lily Lake when it splits off about half way around the lake. Great views. Easy to do some bouldering up there too.

Quick brisk walk! Very nice views up and down :)
This trail was great, only problem was not well marked. Thankfully we were using this app with maps provided it worked out well!
Not well marked and hard to find the trail at the top

Small fun loop. Able to adventure above the lake for a more vigorous hike.
Very steep at the beginning with large steps. Once past that it's a flat and easy slope down. Good trial for bird watchers. Limited views of the terrain.
It is a very nice hike. Good for all skill levels. Fantastic very.
Beautiful views, be careful not to go off the Lily Ridge Trail on one of the turns!
Gentle trail is great for families. First part has some steps ascending about 200 feet But it is pretty gentle after that until a gradual descent to re-join Lily Lake Trail. The trail has great views including Longs Peak and the Two Sisters along with a large rock pile right over the lake. Only criticism is that it is poorly marked in a couple of places. At one point we got off the trail although it was clearly a trail with no turns or intersections. We had to cut through to a lower level as there were no obvious connections. Not too much of a problem on a short loop trail that goes around a lake but it could be better marked. My three-year-old and her five-year-old sister made all the way under their own steam including the initial ascent. It was a fun trail for them with lots of neat rock piles you go by and can climb on.
We really liked the trail. It was a little bumpy and loose gravel had our toddler take a spill but overall it wasn’t too bad. Good starter trail.
Easy trail for just getting acclimated and for kids. Beautiful

Easy trail. Good for beginners!
Nice little trail in addition to the lake. When you first go up it, dont turn to the right, keep going for a few mins and there’s an amazing view with an overlook of the mountains. Finished that and went back to finish the ridge trail.
Fun trail for the kids that want to go up on the rocks and climb with an option to stay on level ground around the lake for younger kids
Good begin herb trail fun with great views
Great little trail with beautiful views and rocks for kids to scramble on. Trail also gives you options for choosing your own path, which was a nice bonus for us.
Nice trail. Great views.
really fun it was a little confusing going back down to the lake because of lack of trail definition bit really easy and nice.
Nice trail and quiet on a Saturday!
Stunning views and quiet trail!

Great hike up with my two sons! Beautiful day! Beautiful views! Met nice people! Great view of Longs Peak too!
The first part of the hike has several steps, but it’s well worth it. We saw a moose having brunch and bear tracks in the snow.
