This hike had an amazing view of the lake. It was absolutely gorgeous! The hiking trail was very easy and flat for most of the time. However, it was really hard to find the trail. It was not marked and it was easy to get lost. We had to go through several roads and unmarked paths to find the trail. Even when we finished, it was difficult to get back to where we parked. We went through a biking trail and it took us a long time to get back. Overall, if you want to do this hike, use the map as your guide. This trail is very hard to navigate in the beginning and in the end. But when you’re going around the perimeter, the view is definitely worth it!

Great trail once on it. Right along the waters edge. The only reason why it is not five stars in my book is due to two reasons; mountain bikers going to fast and not courteous and the camp grounds where dogs were loose. The rest of the experience was great. I would also not classify this as moderate, rather it should be classified as easy.
