Kodel 1 Loop is a 2.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Fruita, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Much less traffic here compared to Devils Canyon but still great trails. The map here doesnt show the trails into the canyon. Easy to Moderate depending on which route you take in the canyon.

Love this hike. 5 miles in and out. Beautiful scenery. Must do early to enjoy.

Lots of horse droppings. It's also sandy until you get to the canyon.

Great trail system that allows for short or long hikes depending on how you link them together. We used the app on the intersections to confirm where we wanted to go. Saw a group of horse riders as well which was fun. The views of the national monument were stunning!
