It was very icy and windy today. Spring Creek trail is currently closed from Wathen to Soderberg for migrating birds of prey so you can't do the full loop. the fee is actually $9 to get in.

Had very minor amounts of ice. Most of it was slush. Spring creek trail leg is closed for anyone trying to do the loop! Also, there’s an $8 car permit for anyone out of town.

Very icy in spots! Definitely glad that I had micro spikes for some of the more slippery places. Beautiful weather and well-maintained trail.

This is a fantastic trail for a day hike. It’s a moderate challenge and the views at the top are highly rewarding. Today the trail was pretty icy in spots, so spikes are advised. There’s a $9 parking fee.
