Holy Cross Wilderness - Eagle Ranger District Wilderness Area Trail is a 13.4 mile out and back trail located near Eagle, Colorado that features a great forest setting and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from June until September.
Directions from Eagle: The Holy Cross Wilderness lies to the southeast of Eagle. The trails on the Eagle Ranger District portion of the wilderness area are accessed by either East Brush Creek Road, south of Eagle, or by West Lake Creek Road, south of Edwards.
Best trail I have ever been on. Nice climb up to the beautiful lake. Hiked/climbed up to the snow line. A must see if you get the chance.
Awesome trail with great scenery. Glad I knocked that off my list before winter sets in. Passed only a handful of people in the 5 day hike.
