Immersive experience in the wetlands and surrounding neighborhood. A lovely segment on the legendary High Line Canal trail followed by a local neighborhood trail that weaves among trophy homes.

I was skeptical at first. I went counter clockwise on the loop. Gravel path between some amazingly beautiful homes...but not really looking for that when I hike. It really opens up nicely on the back end of the loop though. Trail goes right next to the water on a couple little lakes. Very pretty with lots of nature. There are little trails that branch off from the main one here that are really fun to explore.

Love this trail for biking, hiking, & snow skiing. I enjoy having the loop around lake/marsh as a destination & typically go back same route to parking lot rather than Neighborhood. Good views of front range, birds & a wide trail.

Wide trail. Watch out for horse poop! Walk through the backyards of 1%ers. Mostly flat.

Nice trail but quite squishy and muddy in some areas. Also icy. I’d wait til it hasn’t snowed to use it again.

It's just a walk through the backyards of a neighborhood. No nature

Really pretty. Once you are thru the initial neighborhood it opens to a pretty incredible meadow/open space. Flat, enjoyable, not too crowded. Great for an after work run or ride. As one reviewer noted, pay attention to the map in AllTrails...there are lots of ways to get off the route and accidentally extend or cut short the trail.

If you aren’t from the area and you want an exciting trail to do. This isn’t it. This trail is in the middle of a neighborhood and the lake is practically nonexistent. Bikers dominate the area and honestly unless it’s in your neighborhood it’s not worth a visit.

always has been a great ride if you are a native to the area like me you've written this Trail since before it was improved. there is always something to see there is usually wildlife and there are still some unimproved bits of the trail that are worth exploring west of Chatfield Reservoir! enjoy the ride mostly flat and easy for anyone to hike and ride for a quick getaway.

Beautiful trail, homes, trees. A perfect way to enjoy a fall evening. 95% is pea gravel, but I had no problem pushing my two month old in a stroller on this trail.

A very enjoyable loop through some widely differing terrain. Some beautiful houses and parks as well as many assorted trees along the trail. Trail itself goes from gravel, sometimes deep, to concrete paths. Wife didn't like loose gravel as she slid a few times.
