This was really pleasant. I hiked from the trailhead to the Salt Creek connector & back, which took around 7 hours and was approximately 18 miles total. There’s a nice picnic spot at the Salt Creek connector & some nice mountain & creek views along the way. The sound of water, wind, and birds was pretty steady & peaceful. I’d rank it as moderately difficult only bc of length & time (and my adjusting to elevation). A few steep up and down parts but nothing too intense, mostly steady & rolling. Look out for mountain/dirt bikers. Recommend for hiking.
