I hiked this trail yesterday.. it was awesome. The water looks so pristine. The hike down is as to be expected, easy. The hike back up is a challenge for an inexperienced hiker or for someone not acclimated to the altitude. All in all definitely worth the effort. 10/10 would do it again. 6 miles in total

Great trail and views! Park sign say 6 miles, not 4.9..... and almost 1800' elevation gain. End of Nov and still very warm. Wonderful rock walking at bottom and beautiful driftwood.

The Devils Corkscrew will teach you a thing or two! Be ready for the big uphill. Trail paved with stones in some areas.
