It was a fun day! Rough trail out of Cotopaxi. You drive through the burn area which is wild. So much damage. Trail is very pretty even though you don’t get above tree line. Drops out into Villa Grove so definitely hookup with the trails around Bonanza!

Our stock 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara performed beautifully on this trail. There are lots of breathtaking views. None of it was hard; just rocky in spots and shelf roads. Lots of camping spots. We camped at Cutty’s Resort on the Eastern slope. The trail starts just behind the resort. We stopped at the hot springs on the western side before coming back via the sand dunes and Medano Pass. That’s an incredible day of adventure.
