Grizzly Lake Trail is a 7.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Steamboat Springs, Colorado that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The hike is beautiful but the road up is gnarly. VERY ROCKY, rutted and unless you have an SUV, truck, or very high clearance, it's stressful. Looks us 1.5 hours to drive up from Steamboat - so just a warning. Otherwise, a lovely hike. I would have given it 4 stars, except for the drive.
