Always a fun go-to trail. What more can I say! This place is well groomed. Good stuff!

Shame this is a private trail..because besides being an awesome trail for mountain bikes..it's a super fun hike as well.

I was looking for a near by decent trail for walking. I did not expect to like this trail since it seemed a bit boring but I was amazed with the way trail goes. This is a bikers paradise I should say. Parking is pretty big but lots of cars at 4:30pm on week night. The trail was super dry and no shades, but it was perfect weather (cloudy) for this trail. The view was pretty awesome, I was able to see the city side and mountain side both. 05/19/2020 #19

For Highlands Ranch community members only, Subpar narrow trail with unremarkable views, and so many bikers whizzing around you can’t enjoy it at all, trail itself is about 1-2 feet wide max, so anyone hiking has to jump out of the way every two minutes for bikers. Also AllTrails has it marked as dog friendly...it IS NOT, NO DOGS ALLOWED. I would avoid unless you live along the trail and have no other better options

I didn’t actually get to go on the trail. While the East-West Douglas Co trail is dog friendly that leads you to the loop, the loop itself isn’t. It was disappointing at first but staying on the east west trail was nice.
