We did this entire trail, start to finish, while staying on the trail at all times. Didn't get Verified Completed, because the AllTrails map is out of date and doesn't reflect the detours that the park services have added.

Best hike if you want something relatively short and easy on elevation for one of the best views Boulder has to offer. Recorded 3.75 miles round trip and didn’t detour.

A genuinely moderate and scenic trail

Fairly easy hike with awesome views looking at Boulder and the mountains on the other side! The last climb up to the peak is the most difficult. Great hike to take around sunset.

This trail is a good warm up for the harder once around town.

Solid hike! Great views, easy terrain, 4 miles round trip with the new additions. Would recommend to hikers of all levels.

Dogs must be on leash for first 2/3 of trail then off leash for the climb. ESy trail pretty views.

Nice trail. The last 250 yards are the hardest but definitely worth it.

The trail was really nice and not crowded, had some really good views. We are not experienced hikers but it was a relaxing hike with lots of trees. We took our pup and he liked it as well. If you are looking for a pretty easy hike with some good views this one is for you.

Amazing hike! Towards the top is a lot of climbing onto about mid shine high rocks and taller. Lots of dirt too, so we slid a couple of times; not wearing proper hiking shoes. Views are absolutely worth it!! Our dog 20lb Beagle mix had a blast!

Trail is longer than listed due to restoration work. It was about 2 miles up with the detours. Great trail, the end is deserving of the moderate rating.

Trail is easy to follow with a mix of sun and shade. The last 20% of the hike is climbing up at a decent clip. Great views from the top. Slightly crowded as you near the top but everyone is friendly and minds their own business. I would do it again!

Pretty hike! It was super easy for the first half, but then in the last half mile or so it was unexpectedly very uphill. The view at the top was great though!

Zero stars. this trail description should be updated. There is no longer a parking area for this route at all. Its been blocked by several large strategically placed boulders. Not sure who put them there but they are very big so it took heavy equipment to move them. My guess is the city of Boulder doesnt want people parking or hiking here due to this section of Flagstaff rd being narrow and dangerous. In addition, the trail signs have been removed. Wasted a good hour trying to find the access point. Ridiculous.

Amazing sunset hike, hiked back in pitch black darkness with headlamp and it was great.

We did this as a sunset hike. We saw turkey on the way up and enjoyed a slice of pizza at the summit. Not bad at all!

This is a great trail with lovely shadey areas along the trail. I forgot the baby carrier, so we used our jogging stroller and did a lot of it (with a lot of work in parts!!). We had a blast, though!

Beautiful trail. Lots of wildflowers along the way too! Started around 8am on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking. Highly recommended!

Fairly easy hike with some rock scrambling at the end. That part was a bit challenging. I had the trail pretty much to myself because I went around 3 pm on a day when it was threatening to rain (but it never did!)
