Beautiful open space and Mountain Views. We saw & heard a handful of coyotes as we were leaving at 5PM today.

Nice and dry with no mud ice or snow. Lots of traffic noise from below and no real shade. nice view of Denver. I went left at trailhead and mostly flat until intense incline. Next time I will head right at start of trail for more gradual incline. That’s the way most people were headed and I will do the same. Will probably wait until spring to do this again so it’s more colorful and less brown.

HikingGreat!

Nice easy hike near the city. It seemed to be used mostly for trail running and mountain biking, but there were a fair amount of hikers like me.

HikingGreat!No shade

Hike yesterday. It’s a little muddy towards the end (did clockwise). Saw a coyote. Was able to finish the loop in 2 1-2 hours. At weekends, I can see how there could be too many bikers for hikers but on a weekday morning, it’s not too bad.

No shade but still a fun hike. Can be narrow with a lot of bikers at points so be cautious. Close to the highway but very scenic

Whoops forgot to turn on recording and bailed toward the end due to sunset. Beautiful trail with some rocky uphills at the start, but smooth sailing until you round the corner for fun downhill work. I hiked it at a relatively moderate pace and didn't ever feel too tired or worn out. <3 3rd hike ever!

Nice trail, my dog loved it, but definitely go in the morning or on a cooler day because there’s no shade.

Well maintained. Some traffic: bikers and hikers. No shade and a light breeze.
