Great view of the greater Denver area. Easy/short enough to do if you don’t have a lot of time. Be mindful of the mountain bikers.

Running

I would not consider it a hike, but super great for jogging/training for other things. Great view of mount Morrison and mount evans at the 2 mile point. No snow, pretty windy.

Wonderful views! Great for anything: hiking, running, dogs etc. slightly confusing signs though. Remember which trail you’re taking

The trail was nice overall. A bit narrow in some spots which was hard with COVID. I enjoyed the views of Red Rocks. Be careful though. There are so many trails here that it’s easy to make a wrong turn or forget which way you came from

Great views! Pretty empty on a Sunday morning. Nice dog park across the street for the pup to run around.

Mountain bikingGreat!No shadeRocky

Lots of smoke today from the fires but other than that great. There’s no shade or trees so as long as you prepare for the sun you’ll be fine! Very rocky and is great for mountain biking if you’re willing to hike your bike a little. The trails aren’t as well marked and there are a bunch of off shoot switch back style trails that are great to whiz down- not so great for hiking. Not so great for beginner mountain bikers but if you’re confident in your skills it’s a blast!
