Great hike! The map will get you to the trail head, but there is no parking there. Start the hike at the Nordic center, you can park there. Lots of forest cover so it is a cooler hike.

the trail up Kebler pass is much shorter, about 4-5 miles but greater inclination. awesome for mtb with a great up hill and an even better down. highly recommend .definitely on the harder side so I wouldn't reccomend for a beginner.

Nice progressive incline. I believe closer to 9 miles from town. You will experience forest and aspen groves to open meadows with some nice wildflowers in transition. It says no dogs above but they are allowed w leash law. Lake is clear, saw lots of cutthroats. Wish I brought my rod!

Beautiful and well marked! There was a bit of a walk to the trailhead but totally worth it. We saw some great wild flowers and mountain views near the end, and the forest on the way up was charming and lush. The lake is stunning! Except for a few sections, the climb was nice and gradual, and we made better time than we thought we would.

Beautiful trail, well maintained, clearly marked. Mostly shaded, plenty open mountain meadows to spot flowers, and what a beautiful lake at the end.

Moderate hike with great views at the top. Park in town near third street and walk from there (approximately 1/2 mile walk to trail head). Cannot park at the trail head because it is private property, all the more reason to grab a beer in town as you walk back to your car. Cutthroat abound in Green Lake, so hike with a fishing pole if you'd like. Very dog friendly with numerous water spots for your dog to cool off along the way.

You can't park on the road or at the trailhead. 3/4 mile hike from the highway but nowhere to park there either...elitist region...

nice trail and not very difficult. Go past the first lake you see and there is a better lake and view at the top.

Favorite Trail!
Running switchbacks feels like a roller coaster, & there's a lake at the top for a cool down :)
