Absolutely beautiful with in Summer or with snow on the ground. Several choices to make for a great day of photos and enjoying the great mountain air.
Surprisingly nice hike on a sunny and warm Friday. Snowy and muddy in places but nice to have several segments without mountain bikers. Great view from the summit too.
Sunday Feb 12th: Took Plymouth Creek Trail to Golden Eagle to the Top of Bill Couch Mtn. 7 miles round trip. Trail was mostly dry and clear of snow and ice.. good conditions for February! First 3 miles is all steeper and rocky..but very doable. The first mile is in the open, but goes into pine forests. Great views from many vistas towards the top. Bonus is the facilities by the parking lot are clean and newer, with several Picnic pavilions!
This place was awesome!!
Cute little day hike.
View at summit is well worth the hike up. Not too intrusive. A little rocky in places. Maybe not for beginners, but ultimately a great hike.
Absolutely beautiful with snow on the ground and mountains. Several choices to make for a great day of photos and enjoying the great mountain air.
Easy spur from Red Mesa Loop. Takes you to the top of a small peak for great views both east and west.
