Gem Lake is a great little hike with some awesome free views of Estes Park. The hike starts just outside of Estes up Devils Gulch Road. Turn on to Lumpy Ridge Road and park in the lot. $10 Parking Fee.

Super distance and challenge! We kept going to cows creek trailhead, balanced rock, and bridal veil falls! Great day of hiking!

Beautiful trail. I would grade it moderate not hard.
3.7 miles round trip, with some steep portions. Very well maintained trail.

One of my absolute favorites. If you don't do the scramble up the rock wall at the back side of the lake, then you missed out on the best part.

Great Sunday afternoon hike. A bit cold and windy but no complaints here. If you lost a pair of sunglasses contact me!
