Beautiful hike this morning. Lots of dogs, so no critters but plenty of birds.

Ran it in reverse order today. Seems like it took a little longer. More uphills.

ramble through the woodsy part of a public Park. nice views in several places with benches at variable intervals.

I live 10 min away so this makes for a good stretch of the legs when I need to get a run in under an hour. 95% shaded, lots of people walking dogs, and a gut punch of a climb at 2.6 (going CW). Mostly packed dirt and small gravel, some sand. Not a lot to see.

Good place to bring your dogs, and a fairly decent hike, too.

I run on this trail fairly regularly, and I would say the trail is kept in good condition. There are signs where the trail is marked, as well as blue markers on trees to keep you on the path. Some areas are shaded and some aren't which can make running a bit more difficult, but overall a nice forested trail!

Some small hills, fairly easy trail. Benches along the way to rest, suitable for kids and pets. Nice bench at top of hill with a fantastic view.

Was an easy stroll not sure I can even call it a hike, but there was some hills. Made for a decent walk with my dog. Only passed like 3 people so def light traffic. Had to use the app to stay on course a lot.

I was surprised how enjoyable this hike (more like a stroll) was. The ponderosa pines were awesome and the view of Pikes Peak above the lake was pretty. The trail is wide in most places, but look for blue markers on trees to stay on it. However, it is still easy to stray. The app though was helpful in confirming that we had it right. There were lovely wild flowers this time of year.

Runoff parts throughout the trail making some nice sections of jumps and bumps. Would highly recommend for beginner mountain bikers!

This hike was a good one. definitely can get off trail, but all trails seem to lead back to where you started. A bit hilly in areas but the view at the top with the bench and wooden deer was a pleasant surprise. if you lost a knife at the top, it's hanging on the "deers" antlers. picture posted for reference.

Trail is easily lost. Just make sure you pay attention to the map

Nice hike. We were fortunate enough to run into someone who could tell us about the culturally modified trees. I recommend looking it up before going so you can enjoy the experience more. This hike starts at the Trailhead parking lot which is about a half-mile from the main park entrance on Roller Coaster road. Sketchy cell service in the beginning but I was glad to have GPS for most of the hike since it was easy to lose the trail.

Nice peaceful shaded trail. Not much to see besides all of the trees. Very hard to stay on trail, refer to the maps around the park and follow the blue markers on the trees. Restrooms and benches available too.

Beautiful, peaceful hike. Loved the intrigue of finding the Ute prayer trees.

Great trail for conditioning for high altitude. I"ve been away from the area for over a year so have lost some lung capacity and some of the uphills forced me to slow down. But I made it. Fun hike!
